Journal entry Today.

Starting on TRIM today my new word for 2011. The first place to start is with God. I don’t want this to be an empty exercise it has to be a matter of the heart.

2 Samuel 23:16 “…nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord”. After three mighty warriors had put their lives in peril, crossing enemy lines to get David a drink, he sacrificed it and poured it out before the Lord considering himself unfit for such a blessing.

The point for me being, I must hold on loosely to all that God has blessed me with and consider it His. That way I will manage all my worldly benefits with stewardship and not ownership. I think this is a good place to start.
