Easter Bucket List

Wake to the gentle sunshine instead of a demanding alarm.

Escape into a novel.

Bathe my feet in sunshine.

Wear a pretty dress and go somewhere fun.

Paint the house.

Catch up on projects.

Go for a country walk with friends and take a picnic.

Scrap some photos.

Create some cards.

Be a family.

Be a lover.

Call friends.

Worship.

Be happy.

I love it!

16C/60F today in London. I love it! The hour went forward which means the start of early nights.

 I am

  • Not running the heat
  • Washing winter warmers to go back into hibernation
  • Thinking of salads and fresh fruit instead of stews and soups
  • Shaving my legs and painting my toe nails, Shhh!
  • Getting Lilly’s winter coat groomed into a Puppy cut.
  • Watering flower pots and planting veg.
  • Thinking about vacation time

Color Suite Challenge

cc

I attempted to do my own color inspiration challenge for a few months and really got a lot of inspiration. However, I didn’t get any joiners and then happened to come across this loveliness!  So, why do the work when it is done for me.

This was posted Saturday as a last call for Feb and has a prize involved. No time like the present. )no pun intended)

Although a bit of a cheat I thought this tag was perfect. It was made for me in a tag swap years ago and I have never found the right moment to use it. I think Sis will be getting this on her Birthday. Here’s the rest:

Having a Blast

002

Not much blogging lately. I went from dragging my heels after Christmas to warp speed after half-term break.

I always find the period after Christmas so depressing and the time drags on. The after celebration hump isn’t helped much by the lack of sunshine and freezing cold days. Lets just say I think of Florida daily.

The second half of the term is a different story, however, as lighter nights begin to emerge we all pop our heads out to see if the snow has melted; Spring is upon us. Daffodils are up and temperatures reach double digits in the day time, lovely! Now my evenings are filled with engagements and my weekends with preparations. I am preparing for Easter After-School Bible Club once again and having a blast.
