MMS Review …Chillaxin” and MMS giveaway.

Several weeks ago I was invited to become an affiliate member with My Memories Suite. In return I was given a copy of MMS3 to try out for myself and review on ‘The View”.

Why not? I was in the middle of a free trial with the new Stampin’ Up digi software and not incredibly impressed for the price so it was a good time to try a comparison software.

I consider myself a beginner and have struggled to teach myself PSE this year. The rewards are promising but the labor is intensive and you have to be patient. Time is a luxury for me so I do get a little downhearted. One step forward and two back!

This is were MMS3 has really filled the gap for me. It is loaded with ready made albums that you can add your photos to or select to have the photos automatically added. I haven’t tried the automatic option (way too OCD for that) but I can see how building a file of album ready photos and then loading them into a ready made album would be great for a project that needs to be done quickly.

My use of the product at the present is to display blog LO’s so it is important that I don’t have to spend lots of time building a page just to get my blog entry done. I have both built my own pages and used one of the ready made templates and have found both really easy to do. Here's an LO where I used a ready made template and added pics, journaling and a title. This was extremely simple to do and looks great. When you open your photos you simply place over the frames and they snap right in . The title I added with their text tool. Here's one I put together myself using a kit.

You can use any of the artwork that is ready loaded, you can shop online from My Memories or you can access your own pre bought digi kits from your computer. I like the fact that it is compatible with other digi kits because I have invested loads already and want to continue using them.

They have an online helps on the menu bar and I have used it once or twice plus there are MMS tutorials available. I am impressed by the amount of support and development that seems to be going into this product and I believe they are around to stay. In the last month that I have been a member they have already upgraded to MMS4.  Check it out. They have a free trial and if you want the full version my code to the left will get you $10 off and $10 to spend in the shop.
