Mehndi

Attended a traditional Hehndi party this week. An Indian  Hehndi is a pre-wedding party celebrated by the bride and groom.  The men entered the room first dancing to the beet of Indian drumming then the bride entered under a veil canopy that was then lowered to cover her.

The Ladies were invited to sit around the bride to be and share marriage wisdom.

Mehndi (or Henna) is then decoratively applied to the brides hand and the women guests are invited to be decorated.
